Fuerteventura is a wonderful island, nature is virtually unspoiled and although being in a touristic place you have all the space and privacy that you like. At Caleta De Fuste we found a great beach, all required services and lots of dining opportunities at very affordable prices. Climate is almost perfect, wind helps to not feel the temperature even in the hottest days. In 40' driving you can reach most of the nicest beaches and attractions on the island.

Love it here, visited many times, not too noisy, Would even feel safe as a solo traveller. Pity there is quite a lot of empty unit’s & restaurants no longer in existence. Nice clean resort with regular buses to the capital.

The resort is quite close to the airport.
The resort is quite close to the airport. Taxis are well priced and usually available. The journey takes 10 to 15 minutes. There is a bus which will take you to the bus station in Caleta but there might be a fair walk to your accomodation and if you are up the hill it is long way to lug a suitcase.
I've been coming for over 30 years and I think the area has been developed well.
Check where you are booking your accomodation as some places are located up a steepish hill. There used to be a mini train to take people up the hill but it seems to have dissappeared.
There are numerous bars and restaurants serving all manner of food competitively priced. Children are well catered for all overthe resort.
If you want a bit more nightlife there are other resorts on the island that might suit you better.
I have 2 criticisms of the resort, the pavements and footpaths are not well thought out or executed. They are not maintained and trip hazards are everywhere. Smokers are ruining the area by discarding filter tips all over the place, they can be quite imaginative where they dispose of them. Nothing is done to prevent this, nor is any clean up inititive evident.

C de F has grown considerably since we were last there in 2006. It is continuing to grow with lots of building works in progress. The 4 Km promenade walk is great and lit at night. Plenty of restaurants and bars catering for all tastes and budgets. I would tend to avoid Feb as the NNE winds (Calima) are typically at their strongest and they can blow continuously for many days. The main beach is largely artificial sand but is well laid out, large and with a sheltered cove for swimming. (Lifeguards present)

I have been to Caleta De Fuste many times often staying for months at a time, first time back in 7 years, it seems to have gone down hill since then , maybe because of Covid who knows. Restaurants poor, seemed dirty.

I have been going to Caleta for 11 years, sometimes 3 times a year. I have stayed at 6 or 7 different places. I just left be the place. Everything is close to hand as I am 80 this year and my husband 88 next year that is a bonus. We loved The Jack but unfortunately that is to close again, plus Slap and Tickle, Millennium, The Lord Nelson, Saxaphone Bar, and Mac’s bar. We ate out most nights places we ate were Pizza below flower of Scotland and the one next door to millennium, the Chinese opp The British Corner, we ate there too, Trafalgar, Gory’s, Fun in the Sun, Wild West, Lnn’s, Nonna Lia and Bobby’s. Can’t wait till May to go back again.

Nice location, comfortable rooms, a chill zone on the roof top and nice pools.
Comfortable bed and beautiful, priceless ocean view from the room!
Caleta de Fuste is a small town with few attractions and beaches. Okay for a short vacation, or for those who rent a car. By the local bus you get in 20 mins to the airport or in 30 min to a big city of Puerto del Rosario.
One gets to the beatiful beaches of Morro Jable in the south of Fuerteventura from Puerto del Rosario in 2 hours.
Brilliant family villa with lots of great small touches around the villa. Situated in a quiet part of Caleta De Fuste about a 20 minute walk to the shopping mall and 40/50 minute walk to the town centre. Taxi are really cheap 6 euros from the town centre and 3 euros frim the shopping mall. Great private garden with nobody overlooking you, 5 minute walk to Salinas golf club. Will definitely be staying again.
The villa was so clean and spacious plenty of room for our family of 6 to enjoy our own space when needed. The outdoor area was perfect with a good sized pool plenty of sun loungers and seating and even better you got sun all day long in the garden the balcony was a total sun trap and the views were unbelievable. we honestly loved every second of our stay here and we can't wait to return.
Absolutely everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Easy access and extremely friendly host making the booking, any queries and stay very pleasant. The apartment was cosy with a homely feeling set in a calm area with nice neighbours and a lovely pool. Very comfortable and exactly what we wanted to enjoy Fuerteventura.
the apartment was excellent, had everything you needed for self catering, beds were comfy, pillows could have been better.
the swimming pools were great , large and quite warm.
we didn’t eat at the hotel as we went out every night, the restaurants on the resort are excellent and good value for money.
The apartment was very clean, spacious and fully equipped with everything needed for self catering if that was what one desired. It was close to everything restaurants, bars shops and the beach. The apartments are very quiet and safe and are gated.
Comfortable apartment with everything you need. Its good to have a car to go around the island. Around 15-20min walking from the Caleta beach. Smooth checkin and checkout, free parking, nice pool area. We will stay again when in Fuerteventura :)
Breakfast was really good with many choices. Support of staff was excellent. Warm pool at Barcelo Mar hotel. Evening entertainment was very nice (in Barcello Castillo and Hotel Mar). Access to the beach and morning jogging is great.
Great position in the middle of the island. Easy to reach interesting locations on both ends of Fuerteventura.
Quiet, and close to the sea, to shopping center.. Parking in front of the house. A swimming pool across the street.
Bungalow is located in quiet area without car trafic. Very nice pool and area around. Great for families.
Pool guard on the pool.
