A bit on the pricey side if you stay more than 2 nights it’s always the same options for breakfast.
Maybe an egg station so you could order poached or an omelette instead of just fried

Hull has changed so much since my last visit and I genuinely adored my trip. The shops, bars, restaurants and sights were top notch. The marina is beautiful, the range of independent places to eat drink and shop is wonderful. The arcade and market all add to a great vibe and I can’t wait to visit again!

Never knew how much there is to do here!
Never knew how much there is to do here! We had a lovely walk into town and popped into a few of the older pubs (highly recommend Minerva, Ye Olde Black Boy and Fretwells). Was much busier than expected on Saturday afternoon! Then visited the museum quarter the next day and loved it. Will be returning to do some of the trails! Locals friendly, especially en route to and at the football ground. Only thing that could have made it better was if Hull had let us have all 3 points!

Marina area & museums excellent.
Marina area & museums excellent. Old town quite tatty & not much to see. Recommend Hull as a base with 1 day to walk around + 1 museum + 1 more for the Deep & another museum. Highly recommend beautiful Beverley for a visit

I used to study there sometime in the last century.
I used to study there sometime in the last century. It is a quirky and interesting city, not beautiful like Edinburgh or Venice but that doesn't mean there isn't a lot of beauty to be found if you take a close look.
Hull gets slagged off by people who have never been there, which is very unfair. It has a lot of history and nice architecture. And compared to most other major cities it's cheap as chips (and the chips are very good!)
Arrive there via the magnificent Humber Bridge. Visit the Ferens Art Gallery. Take in a show at Hull Truck, The New Theatre or the World Class Don Roy Theatre at the university campus. And enjoy the revitalised harbour and Old Town

In 2 days we visited the Deep, Ferens Art Gallery, and 4 museums, plus lots of great real ale pubs and a couple of good restaurants. We will revisit in 2025 for the Maritime museum, botanical gardens and the street food in be market hall which looked great and more pubs of course
old building with plenty of character, with lots of photos if the park opposite. expected two beds in one room was pleasantly surprised when we got there to find two separate rooms within our room. there was an annoying ticking noise coming from in the wall, sounded like a clock but couldn’t find one anywhere but there was a fan so used that to cover up the noise. great location, very close to a variety of shops, and a stones throw from the city centre. excellent value for money
Great location, great to have locked parking at the back of the hotel, lovely couple running the hotel, great large room with very comfortable bed/s, kettle, tea/biscuits etc available. Quiet and peaceful. Restaurants and take away chip shops close by, Tesco at walking distance behind the train station which also is the start of the city centre.
The room was large, clean and well stocked with tea and coffee. Really enjoyed everything about the room, check in and friendliness of the staff. Good beds, great bathroom too – though the sink didn't drain that fast so I had to be careful. Loved the painting done by the local school children! It's overall excellent value and a great hotel!
The hotel was very easy to find great views from our room overlooking the river and Humber bridge ! Staff couldn’t of been any more helpful and accommodating , we were a little far out from all the attractions eg bars restaurants and aquarium if you wanted to take a walk but taxi was only £8 one way to the marina which was fine !
Brilliant location and great staff. Everyone had a smile on their face and had a chat with you. 5 minute walk from train station and 10 minutes from hull city centre and the Humber. Room was a good size and was clean. Breakfast was included and was standard hotel breakfast.ideal hotel for exploring the coast and local area
Very friendly staff, at the reception desk and housekeeping. Gave us extra duvets and pillows when requested.
Great to have the pub right next door to the hotel, it was very convenient and cheap and nice food.
Good location to Hull, only 15 min drive.
Plenty of parking and it’s free.
Friendly staff, great location! Central to local amenties, Hull town centre and only 10 minute drive to the marina. Free parking available, cozy double room with comfortable bed, nice bathrub, just right for the price. (Thank you to Shannon on reception for arranging earlier check in).
Lovely hotel within easy walking distance of Hull City Centre. Especially convenient for the theatre too. Service was impeccable, rooms big and clean. Breakfast was filling and parking convenient (make sure to book in first to get the parking perrmit).
It is close to the Marina and walking distance to the city centre. The apartment decor was lovely, very clean with very good facilities. Secure private parking was a bonus. Communication with the manager was very helpful & friendly
Regarding my flight to the UK to many delays and issues, as regards the Dorchester Hotel very thing is fine as far as l’m concerned, certainly good value for the cost of room and the staff are excellent and very friendly.
I booked The Embassy Hotel purely on price, since the hotels in the centre of Hull were quite expensive. Although on the outskirts, I did my research with the buses and found the public transport excellent.
The hotel is very traditional and very nice particularly worth with the price. Near city centre. Great location and stuffs were very friendly. I enjoyed it. Much recommending.
