Location, balcony with table for laptops made for a wonderful start each day. Even though there were many families with children, the adult pool was buffered from the sounds of children playing in the family pool, creating a beautiful sanctuary.

It is very windy and 3 days of our stay the resort area was uninhabitable. We either needed to stay inside-not why we came to Hawaii or go to Kona. There are no real beaches in the area we spent alot of time driving back and forth to Kona.

3 Bedroom condo was very nice.
3 Bedroom condo was very nice. Comfortable beds and kitchen fully stocked. location great. Nice lunch (and breakfast) spot nearby at Johny's restaurant at Golf Pro Shop. Wish we could have golfed. Excellent pool and workout area per my friends. Tennis courts strange matt surface. Hard to see #s on other condos at night to find location of our friends who were also staying there. But overall, a great facility and will be back!

Waikoloa is a great affordable luxury resort development.
Waikoloa is a great affordable luxury resort development. It is the kind of place where you can take walks and enjoy the beautiful landscaping or for dining and shopping. Many excellent tour companies (Kailani Tours) do pick-ups here and Waikoloa is well situated for exploring all parts of the island.

The hotel is beautiful and the grounds are lovely.
The hotel is beautiful and the grounds are lovely. However, the food was mediocre at best, very overpriced and not fresh. The staff were not overly helpful or friendly. I would be hesitant to recommend this resort to friends and family.

We were a family of 5 and this was great!
We were a family of 5 and this was great! It gave us plenty of space and we were able to relax in the room and grill and cook a few meals in. There is shopping, restaurants, a movie theater, and a BIG ABC store that has everything you could want - groceries, take out, souvenirs, etc all right across the street within walking distance. Its only about 20 min from the airport but has lots of open space and a very quiet feel to everything. Its a very short drive to several beaches and only about an hour or so to anything else on the Island. We were on 3rd floor and elevator is small and very slow but is helpful with luggage. The garage had lots of beach gear available for use. Small but nice swimming pool just a few buildings down with beautiful landscaping around it and a shaded patio if you are hanging out and watching kids swim.

The Mauna Lani Beach Club is a wonderful beach and it was a huge plus to have access to the cabanas and furniture based on the fact the unit had a membership there. We enjoyed the fact that the unit was close to restaurants (Tommy Bahama) and groceries (Foodland).
Morning walks around Mauna Lani are wonderful and easy access over to the beach is convenient. It's also simple to travel over to Waikoloa for even more shopping and restaurants. The Lava Lava Beach club has great food and is right on the water where we got to see a Monk Seal swim in the bay.
Also, I would recommend exploring the full Big Island. There are wonderful national parks and you can see so much and so many different climates and landscapes. It is truly unique compared to the other islands.
We were able to see whales each day when we drove north up Kohala.
All in all a wonderful trip for our 10th visit to the islands.
Nice property, I wish you can get a pool pass at the main hotel lobby without going on the train to check in. Also, super expensive food. We paid 136$ for one 16 inch pizza and one pasta that was delivered to our room. Cool place for kids and adults. They have dolphins( captive) and turtles on the beach and water....Many whales could be seen at sunset very close to the property....
We were travelling with our teenage son and had a beautiful two-bedroom suite with a balcony overlooking the golf course and the ocean in the distance. It was extremely comfortable with everything we needed. Although the price was somewhat high, it was a bargain compared to the beach resorts 15 minutes away which charged twice as much for a standard hotel room.
This was an excellent stay for our family of 4 and we would like to return next time we go to Hawaii. It has all that you could want - 2 bedrooms, 2&1/2 bath, short walk to the beach club, ocean view with access to nearly new bbq and pool area. It’s also a short walk over to a huge resort if you want a little entertainment and a cocktail.
Amazing location and the property is beautiful, much better than I expected. The private beach is really nice with a lot of different type of fishes and turtles around. Clean and clear water. I am surprised not more people go to the beach! The sunset is amazing from the hotel.
The large pool was amazing . The music and the bars in the evening . The quiet peaceful vibe. The view from the hotel was the best of all . The most comfortable rooms set up great . The restaurants we amazing also with exelent service
The moment I walk out of my room there’s so much to do! The team at the Hilton is immaculate! Super nice people that is always happy to help or lend a hand! 10/10 would come back to the same resort when I come back to the big Island!
Spacious room, kitchen provided, Can use facilities in Hilton Waikoloa (the Big Hilton) free of charge, convenient shuttle to the Big Hilton and Queens & King's market. Great golf course view. Free car parking. Good value for money
The location of the property is superb. The grounds and gardens are beautiful and very well kept. the pool with its restaurant/bar are fabulous and the best part of the property, along with its location on the Shoreline Trail.
The property was in a great location for walking all over Waikōloa, it was very comfortable, and everything that you thought you forgot was there! They have gone out of their way to make their condo a nice place to stay.
We liked that the property was conveniently located in Waikoloa Beach Village. The local gourmet market has a lot of food choices for lunch at the beach dinner, etc. and it is very convenient to rent beach equipment.
Enjoyed the view of Mauna Kea on one side, and the ocean on the other. Very serene. Parking at unit. Easy walk to large grocery and restaurants in Waikoloa village. Amenities of the condo were amazing.
Love that the pools have water slides. The kids had a great time there and we enjoyed the other pools at the Hilton Village Waikoloa. The suite was perfect for our family.
We loved all the space and modern appliances with quality kitchen tools/utensils. All the beach gear was a very nice bonus. The pool and hot tub were wonderful too…
