Everything about the Chill Out Bungalows was great, the friendly staff, the ginger cat we named Gili that gave us lots of love on New Year’s Day (when we were feeling a bit delicate), the food, the location and the atmosphere was fantastic. Such a little gem on Gili Air! It's 100m from the beach (the good side of the island for snorkeling) and 5min walk from the center and 10 to the port, and is really good value for money due to the size and cleanliness of the room as well as the outside bathroom and the little terrace. There is a full tank of water outside the room that cools and warms it as you please, which is super nice to have around instead of speding money on and using plastic single-use bottles. Rooms are made everyday and there is more water in the room replenished every day. There is a mini-fridge, great AC, 2 big beds, plenty of storage space, and so on. Bikes can be rented on site for 50K a day. And the pool is great and has plenty of sun and shade for all likings. Our only regret is not to have stayed longer 😢

Great location for me, in the center of the island, easy walking to any coast. Only 2 to a room with our own shower and toilet. Really nice traditional style hut. Yes the mosque is loud but it is literally next door so to be expected, I wasn't disturbed with earplugs

This property is absolutely beautiful and very peaceful, the staff were so attentive and friendly. The staff turned down our bed at night, left homemade cookies and a bedtime story. It was a wonderful personal touch. The room itself was beautiful and comfortable, it is so nice to shower outside looking up at the palm trees. Although the beach isn’t swimmable in front of the hotel, it is a very short bike ride to beaches that are and the hotel provides beaches free of charge. The breakfast was amazing (some of the best French toast I’ve ever had) and it was really nice waking up on the quiet side of the island and having breakfast on the beach. We loved our stay and would absolutely return.
