Located in Mae Sot, Mae Sot Commune features a garden, shared lounge and free WiFi throughout the property. I liked that everyone was like family, despite our first time meeting one another. Mike the owner, shared many things with me, along with the other roommates in the commune. Everyone was lovely and I didn't regret my visit there, because it gave me an insight on what it's like to stay in a commune, to see how people around were living and working to earn a living. Despite the price, Mike even provided a mosquito net for my bed and yeah I didn't get bitten one bit 😂 I had good night's sleep till I almost overslept; thanks to the rooster outside for the morning wake-up call. It was a memorable experience! Thank you very much to Mike and team, for the hospitality and for the great sharing session. It was lovely. ❤️

Well situated in the centre of Chiang Mai, Green Sleep Hostel offers air-conditioned rooms, a shared lounge and free WiFi. The accommodation was neatly cleaned every day. I stayed in a room with a window, and the entire building was well ventilated. There was a separate refrigerator for guests, so I could conveniently store my personal items. The staff always had smiling faces and were really friendly. The accommodation was located in an alley, so it was quite quiet. Even though the alley was right on the road where the Sunday night market was held! I really recommend it in all aspects: location, cleanliness, and staff. If I come back to Old Town, I want to use it again :)

Situated in Chiang Mai and within 500 metres of Tha Pae Gate, Comfort Zone Hostel @ Tha Pae has a shared lounge, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi. It was in a very convenient location the hosts were kind hearted people I will definitely stay here again. I live an hour away from Chiang mais and often come on the weekends and before coming I saw the exceptional reviews. Luckily when I got there it was only me and one another lady staying in the room so that was perfect.

Set in Chiang Mai, 2.3 km from Chang Puak Market, October Hostel ChiangMai offers accommodation with a shared lounge, free private parking and a terrace. I loved everything about this hostel. The private room was the best of my 2 months in Thailand. The location is phenomenal and absolutely go up to the rooftop and watch sunrise, sunset or both. Absolutely gorgeous.

Featuring a shared lounge and a terrace, T2B Hostel is located in the centre of Chiang Mai, 300 metres from Chiang Mai Gate. The bed is comfortable, great location to access the old town. The host Sky is exceptional, she will help you with anything you need. There is a few times I am back when Sky's family was having dinner, they always invite me to join them, they are very warm and helpful.

Super clean, great location and the staff were lovely. One of our favourite stays on our trip and would definitely come back again.

Conveniently located in the centre of Chiang Mai, Ed Hostel offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and free private parking. A nice clean cut modern interior design. Facilities were excellent, staff were amazing and so helpful. Rooms were well sized, everything in good working condition. Beds, pillows and duvet sets were so clean and fresh. Cute little cat to greet you at reception. Snacks and hot drinks available when you want at a self service area. Washing machine and dryer facilities too. The staff also have connections to local coffee shops where you can get a free drink from being a guest at Ed Hostel!
