Location was good for the price and one of the staff members spoke English.

Didn’t have time for breakfast, would have been nice if they had something to go.
Boasting an authentic Feng Shui design, this non-smoking hotel enjoys a peaceful location in Freising. You can drive to Munich's international airport and the A9 motorway within 15 minutes.

The breakfast was very good. However, the location was quite a ways from the nearest train station. It took 20-30 minutes to walk there. If I were staying in Freising again, I would book something closer to the train station.

Affordable for a hotel near to airport, took a taxi to airport only took about 15mins. Cost about 38euros. This hotel is a no frills hotel for 1 night. Room is big enough to do packing, we have 2 big luggages and require space to do packing, so that's good.

A lovely town with lots of independent shops, great eateries and fab transport links to Munich and other cities.
Weißbräu Huber at the top of the high street always provides excellent food and service as does the Freisinger Augustiner also on the high street. You can also eat and drink at the oldest brewery in the world Bräustüberl Weihenstephan which is a lovely walk up to. If you are walking through the woods then a stop at Plantage Biergarten is worth a stop.
Munich S-Bahn (S1 line) ends at Freising or you can hop on the main train line and visit lots of local cities such as Passau, Munich, Regensburg, Landshut etc. all worth a visit.
Travel in late spring / Summer and enjoy the outdoor pools (FREIBAD) which are exceptional.
One of my favourite cities for location, amenities.

A very walkable town just outside Munich airport.
A very walkable town just outside Munich airport. People are very friendly. Lots of shops that are well priced as this is not a overly touristy town. It does have interesting historic buildings, town square and a convenient pedestrian walk along the main district.
A big mix of international food choices- from classic German to sushi, to Japanese steakhouse, Greek, Middle Eastern.

The town is under construction including the main drag through town, churches and other buildings. So many cafés to sit and people watch. Not many restaurants to choose from. At least two supermarkets to purchase vegan, vegetarian and meat snacks & goodies to pack a picnic lunch or dinner.

The Huber Weisbrau Restaurant had good Bavarian food, waiters were a bit rude to our group. My group and I went to Holy Mass in the morning (walking distance from hotel and uphill) at St. Mary and St. Korbinian Cathedral which was absolutely breathtaking and the priest welcomed us warmly. Wish we had had more time to get a tour of this beautiful Cathedral and it’s history, as well as the city. As we walked to and from Holy Mass, we saw the beautiful paintings on some of the buildings. Sadly, we only had an overnight stay with our flights on our way home from a wonderful Međugorje Pilgrimage.

Freising is a wonderful place.
Freising is a wonderful place. I could walk around and explore. I love the folklore of the city and spotting the bears posed around the city. Ask about the bears!!! We found 8 of them, but I am sure there are more. There is a great local pub, Augustiner Bierstueber, with a great selection of wine and beer.

Freising is a lovely place to visit.
Freising is a lovely place to visit. Very picturesque, plenty of history to keep you busy and entertained. It is very walkable with many good restaurants and shopping. Train station is conveniently located to city center.
Walking around you will find something interesting around each corner. We enjoyed visiting the Freising Cathedral which has amazing architectural features. Plan for a longer visit as there is more to see than the main church interior.
We found the service and food were the best at Weissbraeu Huber...we ate there two nights! The outdoor seating was perfect as well.
This hotel is not in the airport, its 20 minutes drive,
the "shuttle" costs money and it does not exists at all times or even days. for example there was no shuttle from the airport upon our arrival at Saturday afternoon and there was no shuttle back on Sunday morning (9:00 am) - i naively thought that if Marriott calls this hotel "Munich Airport Marriott " its either in the airport or that you can easily reach it at all time with no extra cost or effort
This was a perfect place for my stay in Freising. Easy home base from which to walk around town, close to the central station and also a short walk to city bus stops & the easy-to-navigate transit system linking Freising, the airport, Munich, etc, when I needed to travel further. The self check-in and building access was absolutely easy to manage and I always felt I could reach out if ever needed assistance. I think I'll be back!
Late night flight made the cost of getting into Munich prohibitive so looked at Freising, just a few miles from the airport and found this fantastic and authentic hotel. Lovely rooms (with great air con!), good breakfast in lovely courtyard, only stayed one night but had time for a stroll around Freising and would recommend, it's a really quaint and compact Bavarian town, a much nicer option than staying in Munich!
Convenient for the airport, easy to get to and fro. Only slight glitch was that the Novotel booking system had been upgraded and did not communicate with booking.com for our reservation, despite confirmations received via e-mail and info from the hotel about getting there, so our reservation did not appear on their system. However, the reception staff sorted it qujickly.
The breakfast for a fee was excellent. The location was perfect as we were able to walk to and from the train station with our luggage. The customer service at the front desk was fantastic and they helped us to make our transportation to the airport via taxi. Loved the town of Freising. Highly recommend this hotel if you are flying home out of Munich.
Good hotel close by to the airport with an elaborate breakfast buffet. They also provide packed food boxes if your stay includes breakfast and you are leaving before breakfast time 6am. Make sure to let the receptionist know the previous night. Provides free wifi, complimentary coffee/snacks and water in the room.
Nice little Gasthaus in Freising. The room was comfortable and clean. The gentleman at the reception was very friendly and helpful. We had an excellent dinner in the restaurant. The next morning, we enjoyed the cafe across the street before making the short drive to Munich Airport.
This was our second stay at the hotel. We wished the hotel were closer to the airport, but the town of Freising is lovely. We ate at a local restaurant that was just a 10 minute walk. We've eating in the Loden, the hotel's bar, and it was excellent.
Close proximity to the airport via S bahn (just one stop) and a short walk to the train station, a bus stop to 365 airport shuttle bus (1.9 euro) is outside the hotel. Besucherpark is also a great spot for kids to play and watch planes taking off
Beautiful traditional hotel in center of surprisingly charming village.
Great restaurants and shops on pedestrian streets. Comfortable rooms. Great helpful staff. Easy access to Munich airport. Hope to stay again.
The breakfast was excellent and the staff super helpful. They helped me with the bus schedule so I was able to catch the train to the airport. The bus is right across the street from the hotel.
Very well maintained hidden gem in Freising, was put up in this hotel last year as my Lufthansa flight was canceled and loved the hotel and town so much we came back for a two night stay.
It was a good location for us to get to the airport. We had a rental car. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is very close to various places to eat. The staff was friendly.
The hotel is a five minute walk from the train and bus station. Very convenient. Also there was a bus to the airport from the bus station every 20 minutes between 4am and midnight.
The hotel is quite good. It is easy to get to Munich airport by car or by public transport (closer than Munich itself). There is hotel parking behind the building.
The Breakfast, while it is quite expensive.
The location is convenient. (Airport - Public Transportation)
Freising is a better place to stay than the Airport
Nice hotel, a bit older, but very clean and tidy. Staff was friendly and room was comfortable. Great breakfast and convenient location for Munich Airport.
Close to airport, car parking on premises, nice room, comfortable bed, close to Freising Altstadt and Weihenstephaner Brewery, great breakfast, nice staff
