Had an amazing room that opened onto a large terrace which had a perfect view of Neuschwanstein - absolutely amazing and made the trip! We were budget travelers backpacking so we couldn’t spend too much money on a place but hotel mueller was still incredible - super clean and great facilities. The free buffet breakfast was delicious and the staff always went above and beyond and were very kind. Would 100% recommend for a stay in Neuschwanstein.
With some rooms offering wonderful views of the Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau castles, this traditional hotel is just a 5-minute drive from Füssen and the Austrian border.

Location was in the heart of the town and within walking distance of the information center and buses for the tour of Neuschwanstein. You could see the castle from the property.
This historic hotel is just a 2-minute walk from Schloss Neuschwanstein castle. It offers spacious rooms, great views of the Alps, and Bavarian food.

We loved the location! Neuschwanstein castle overlooked the hotel and it was a quick easy walk to visit it in the morning. Our room was lovely and included a sitting room. Being able to drive up so close to the castle and leave our car there was fantastic. We could look out window and see the castle. Really lovely.
Directly on the pedestrian zone in Füssen’s old town, this traditional hotel offers free WiFi. It is 500 metres from Füssen Train Station, and 4 km from Neuschwanstein Castle.

A nice spacious room, it had a couch in addition to the bed. Bathroom/shower also good, everything seemed to be in decent condition. The restaurant downstairs was a nice place for dinner. The location is very central, in the Old Town. Parking is in the back - hotel kindly emailed the directions to the parking a day before arrival. The staff was friendly.
This 4-star hotel in the Bavarian town of Füssen offers spacious rooms, spa facilities and 1 restaurant with 3 theme areas. The main train station is only 100 metres away.
This hotel is located a few minutes' walk from Lake Forggensee, 8 km from Füssen town centre.

Fantastic location, great staff, clean room with amazing view to the mountain and lake, conformable clean room. Traditional style hotel in the Bavarian Alps bear to the castel
Central location convenient for visiting the two castles.
Central location convenient for visiting the two castles. There is nothing there apart from a series of hotels and a few restaurants. Even so, much more conventient than staying further out and paying for parking etc.
For more amenties and activities apart form the castles try Fussen, 15 minutes away

This city is amazing and the people are so nice.
This city is amazing and the people are so nice. I had all good experiences during my stay in the area. The Castle Hohenschwangau is worth a visit as well. Most people just go to Neuschwanstein, but please visit the Hohenschwangau Castle as well. Do not eat at the Hotel Muller Bistro quick snack place. The Jumbo hot dog was terrible, and I had an ache in my stomach the rest of the day. Eat at one of the sit down restaurants!

Woman from reception was completely stressed out wich is unpleasant if you have just traveled so we didn't feel very welcome when checking in. After 17:00 not possible to eat anything. Bad WIFI and breakfast ( no fruit) that was not what you expect fir this price. Rooms did not have insulated walls. Perfect distance from the Neuschwanstein castle ( only 200 meters)

We only had one night here which had to fit into our other travel plans. Was a great experience and we will be back for at least 3 nights so we can do further mountains, hikes and cycling. The place has stunning vistas can highly recommend.

Fairy-tail castle build by a romantic young king in a fantastic location high-up in the Bavarian mountains and overlooking a lake surrounded by dense forest. It is a destination worth seeing, part Disney World (the castle itself), part reality (its location). Prior reading up on the historical facts is recommended, though. Visits are well organized, but generally require some waiting for busses and scheduled tours. The physically fit can hike up, instead, but everything has its price, including parking.

Hohenschwangau was a winter fairytale.
Hohenschwangau was a winter fairytale. We had gently falling snow for our stay in December and the township was lit up for Christmas. It was truly magical. We enjoyed the drive through the wintry countryside to get to this destination, one of the most beautiful drives with snow-laden trees and a snow cleared safe passage. Neuschwanstein Castle is a short walk or horse-drawn carriage ride free from the township. There is ample paid parking (10 Euros for a car) for those visiting the castle on a day trip. We dined on traditional Bavarian food a short stroll from our hotel whilst other members of our group dined at Hotel Muller. Service is exceptional. It is like the service providers in this township have made a collective pact to leave every visitor with the best and warmest memories to cherish. I will be telling everyone about this wonderful experience.
View is outstanding, direct to the castle.
Car park is bonus, I felt very safe that car is secured and only hotel resident can park there.
Breakfast OK, we always find something to eat. Walking distance to the town centre.
We knew that we are going to be late to come back from the tour, but hotel staff politely allow us to keep dog in the room! So grateful for that!
Room is big, has a fridge and kettle, bathroom is fully equipped.
Hotel can arrange tickets to the castle too.
Enjoy stay!
Thank you.
Being able to eat breakfast and dinner with a view of Neuschwanstein Castle and the view from the room window of Hohenschwangau Castle and the Alpsee lake were wonderful! All hotel staff was very nice and helpful. The advantage was also free parking right next to the building. The cafe with a garden next to the hotel was also pleasant. Thanks to the amazing location, we were able to do all our trips on foot!
Good hotel near the castle and the lake. Various breakfast, very helpfull people, clean room and bathroom. Everything only in high quality.
You can park the car in the public car parking places (not directly to the hotel) and have to get from the hotel reception a paper sheet to put on the car panel (then a car parking is cheaper). No problem with a car parking, just need to know the system :).
Location was right at the foot of Neuwestein Castle. Was nice to be able to walk around early mornings and late at night when tourist traffic was light. It is a bit of a hike uphill to get to the hotel from town but worth it to be in such a peaceful location in the evenings. Light breakfast provided at morning. Other meals available at a cost.
Location for access to Neuschwannstein (and Hohenschwangau) can't be beat - right at the base of the road to walk up (or catch a bus/carriage ride up), including parking. The room was quite spacious and well designed. Dinner in the restaurant is a little pricey, but among the best of the few options in the village. Very nice staff.
The rooms were so comfortable and spacious. We had a balcony with a view of the castle which was so pleasants in the evenings. Breakfast was great and the staff was helpful. We were able to hike to the castle from the hotel, and we even walked into Schwangau later in the day for a great dinner at the Schwangau Castle Brewery.
The communication with the hotel representatives run smoothly and thanks to their hospitality we could park our car on the parking spot at the hotel even before our check-in. The room was clean, the beds were brand new and super-comfy. And the Neuschwanstein castle visible from our window was just a cherry on the top.
Very spacious room. Good choices for breakfast and a nice coxy restaurant. We shared a 2-person meal and it was delicious. Very close to both castles and the museum. Literally walking distance. Apparently they also supply bus passes but we didn't request one.
The location is amazing, overlooking the nearby castle, so within walking distance. Not much further to a few restaurants too. We only had breakfast in the hotel but this was ok. Our room had a balcony that looked directly at the castle so this was a bonus!
the hotel's location was charming and beyond expectations you can visit the two castles easily and there is a peaceful lake near by. the breakfast was good and generous portions and the waiter was patient and friendly (his name is Emiel)
Located far up the mountain just below the schloss, the location eliminated about one hour of walking uphill to tour the castle. Good food and a generous pours of beer make this hotel a must stop in the Heidelberg area.
Everything about our 2 night stay was exceptional- from our late check in to the comfort of our room. Great location to all the nearby trails and castles. Great menu at both cafes and friendly staff!
Location couldn’t have been better. You can see both castles from the property, and it’s a 10 min walk to Hohenschwangau castle. Neuschwanstein is easy too but a longer walk (same for everyone)
Fantastic hotel especially the room with the bathtub and the view of the castle. Absolutely above any expectations. The breakfast was nice as well. The castle is super closer by foot.
