Sehr freundlicher Empfang, Zimmer sauber und ruhig.

Very kind host, fantastic breakfast & perfect location.
Monschau is a hidden gem with lots of character. It is a very historic place with artistic connections too. It is easy to walk round but possibly not if you have mobility issues. Everything is very close and the place we ate was outstanding.

Perfect location if you like hiking, woods, rivers and easy mountains. Liked it a lot. Small cute touristic town, almost a village. And a lot of nature around. Even if you came without a car but you love walking - would be nice place for you. There seems not so much to do in the town other than eating and drinking but this was what we needed.

Monschau is a very pretty tourist-centric village.
Monschau is a very pretty tourist-centric village. Lots of hotels, holiday homes, restaurants and cafes. People are very friendly. Parking can be difficult altho there is a parking lot at each end of the village - do use them as parking in the middle is limited.
It has a lovely Christmas Market .
Monschau is also very convenient for visiting Aachen.
The Eifel is also a great area to walk or cycle and there is plenty to keep adults and children busy in the open air!

Visiting for Christmas Market. Aware only on at weekends.
Visiting for Christmas Market. Aware only on at weekends. We have visited several times over 20 years ago.Town not so decorated eg houses etc compared to few years ago. No longer small supermarket nor chemist, less stalls. Market did not seem as busy . The “passion play” held outside involving the children also no longer. Is this just a sign of the times following Covid? / rise in cost of living. However, we still thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Just two of us now. Also enjoyed the snow, made town and surrounding area very festive.

An amazing small village between mountains.
An amazing small village between mountains. Amazing atmosphere specially around Christmas time. Beautiful Christmas 🎄 markets nice traditional Cafe and restaurants. The most amazing part is that no cars allowed in the Centre. I highly recommend. Monschau is a village back in time.

We were on holidays in a group of 4 friends with our dog, Ladrador size. I mention having our dog with us as it impacts what you do. We did not visit inside buildings however walking around Monschau we could enjoy the magical atmosphere and colours of the buildings. People were friendly, terraces were heated and lovely. We ate out twice, together with our dog and had lovely well priced meals and found the staff to be very friendly.
Very cozy (yes that also means small) room in lovely old house in the center of Monschau. We were the only guests on a weekday night - it seems the town is busier on weekends. We were on a bike tour along the Vennbahnradweg, and this was a nice place to stop for the night. The owner allowed us to store our bikes in the cellar. Room was clean and comfortable but very small. This was fine for us as we just needed a place to stay for the night, but do keep it in mind. We appreciated the small fridge in the room.
When you are looking for the calm and relaxing atmosphere, that is the right place to be here. Very well equipped hotel with new facilities, as well as cosy garden with organized places for barbecue. Spacious room and bathroom, all is new and comfortable. Particularly cosy bed and a great choice at breakfast. Leckeres Essen und guter Kaffee)). Super fast check-in/-out. And amazing Monschau city is 7min drive by car.
We enjoyed our stay ay Jeje und Anna's Eifel Haus. Our room was clean, comfortable, and quiet, breakfast was plentiful and varied, the wifi worked well, free parking was available, the hosts were informative and hospitable, and the price was quite reasonable. The location, 15 minutes to Monschau by foot, isn't bad, but it's almost entirely uphill from Monschau to the Eifel Haus.
This hotel is exceptional for the value. It is nice, cozy, and clean. You will not find a better hotel for this price. Breakfast is a bit limited in option, but for only 5 euro it is definitely the best breakfast you can get. It definitely did not disappoint.

We linked the location in the town Monschau. Remember that you need to take your car through narrow streets with tourists walking before the car. This was a little bit difficult. The service prior to our stay was good.
Excellent location. The directions were perfect and Ivonne explained everything in the room and nearby. The Red room is a steep climb but you are rewarded with an incredibly cozy bedroom.
The best part of our stay was Wolfgang Weber, our host. He was kind, gracious, and welcoming. He was also a wealth of information about Monschau and the surrounding areas.
Super central, beautiful apartment in a typical Monschau house, having all the comfort needed. Big bike storage area and parking place right in front of the house.
I have been visiting the hotel since 2014 for my summer motorcycle trips to Germany, this is the best hotel, I stay here on average 6 weeks every summer.
