Situated in Straelen and with Toverland reachable within 24 km, Zur Alten Schmiede features a garden, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi and a terrace. Ingrid's welcome was very warm and the mattresses are of excellent quality. The rooms were impeccably clean and the noise from the road was cut by 3 layers of glass. What's more, the establishment welcomes dogs, which is unfortunately all too rare. The hotel team is to be congratulated on this.

Modern hotel on the Rhine. It appears quite large, but the service was efficient and friendly. Breakfast was outstanding, offering all you could imagine. Front desk staff most helpful. Restaurant was quite good.
